The terms for using reverse-mortgage-estimate.com, a service of Summit Equity Partners Inc.
1. You get an estimate, not a loan offer
All figures on the site are estimates built from public HUD and Treasury data, together with the details you enter. This isn't a loan offer, an approval or a commitment to any amount, rate or cost. You can't get a loan quote from anyone except a lender, and only after you apply, complete counseling and receive an appraisal.
2. What we are, and what we're not
This site is operated by Summit Equity Partners Inc. We aren't a lender, a broker, a government body or a HUD-approved counseling agency, and no connection exists between us and HUD or the FHA. Any HUD counseling you attend before a HECM is separate from us and from every lender.
3. We don't give advice
Our guides describe how reverse mortgages generally work. The guides aren't advice on the law, taxes, money or estates for your own circumstances. Before you decide, speak with a HUD-approved counselor and, if needed, an attorney or tax adviser.
4. When you call or ask for a quote
When you call or send the quote form, we connect you with reverse mortgage lenders or brokers. Every one is its own business and takes responsibility for its quote, licence, fees and behavior. A quote costs you nothing, and you can end any conversation whenever you like. Calls may be recorded; you'll hear a notice when the call begins.
5. How you can use the material
You're welcome to share the pages, quote from them and reuse the CSV files and the heirs' timeline, with a link back to reverse-mortgage-estimate.com. Don't copy the whole site, list our phone number or name on any other site, or send automated traffic or spam through the forms.
6. How accurate it is, and our liability
We aim to keep numbers up to date and correct, and we fix mistakes when notified, but the site comes as is. Within the limits the law sets, Summit Equity Partners Inc. isn't responsible for decisions based on an estimate or for anything a lender or broker does. Nothing here limits any legal rights you have that can't be limited.
7. Law
The State of Delaware's laws apply to these terms, though they don't override the consumer protections in your own state.
